2011 - 2012 Foundation of Technopac Austria
Technopac Austria was founded in December 2011 and commenced business activities at its headquarters in Wilhelmsburg A-3150 on 1 January 2012.
An opportunity in the market arose following the decision of an American owned group to close its business operations in Austria. This resulted in the release of many experienced employees with extensive industry knowledge and technical know-how. Recognising the need for a strong local sales organisation, this team joined forces to serve the Austrian market with a comprehensive range of flexible packaging solutions.
2012 - 2023 Growth and market expansion
What started as a small and dedicated team, quickly developed into a reliable and highly service-oriented partner for the market. Through strong teamwork, commitment and customer focus, Technopac Austria steadily expanded its operations.
The team grew with new colleagues in both sales and administrative roles. Beyond Austria the company successfully developed adjacent markets, including Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Italy further strengthening its regional presence in flexible packaging solutions.
2024 Strategic alliance with The Royal NNZ Group
In July 2024 Technopac Austria joined forces with the Royal NNZ Group, a global leader in industrial and agricultural packaging solutions. This strategic alliance strengthens Technopac Austria’s market position and further expands NNZ’s expertise in FIBC and Big Bag solutions across Europe and beyond.
Today, Technopac Austria has become a centre of excellence for the supply of FIBCs (Big Bags), both 1 & 2 loop and 4 loop styles, across all industries and much of Europe. With more than 30 years of experience, we enjoy working together with our customers on the development, testing and production of specific designs to optimise performance and provide greater value.
Through our near shore production combined with warehouse locations we also offer our global customers service and 100% security of supply.
As part of the NNZ network Technopac Austria continues to operate with a strong focus on service and quality and innovation, while benefiting from NNZ’s international scale, sustainability ambitions and packaging expertise.
