Another year is drawing to a close: one that none of us planned like it developed. Just as we have left the pandemic behind us after two years of deprivation and suffering, a war is reaching the world that is again bringing so much powerlessness, sadness and pain into our lives.

Christmas is just around the corner and we all ask and pray for peace and hope that the economic crisis that is already being felt will not do us too much harm. We all long for a „normal“ Christmas in the usual setting, together with family and friends.

Corona has brought a lot of suffering to the World in so many ways, has divided families and friends, and sometimes an end doesn't really seem to be in sight.
